You don’t need to be an oenophile to love the monthly Web newsletter by online wine retailer Guy du Vin (aka David Holstrom). Filled with poems, snarky observations and hilarious anecdotes, the newsletter eventually works its way around to opinionated wine advice. You might not agree with everything the Portland-based wine consultant says (such as, tasting California zinfandels is like trying to differentiate between Sweet’n Low and Splenda), but you’ll love the ride.
