If you’re like me and find yourself saying, “I’m too busy to do _______ (fill in the blank)”, try saying this the next time those words come to mind:

“I have plenty of time to do the things that propel me forward.”

The first phrase sounds (and feels) stressful. The second acknowledges that you have a choice and are consciously prioritizing what to do next.

It can be humbling, but helpful.
